Check
the current road conditions and weather forecast before
starting your trip. Leave early. Expect your trip to take
up to twice as long as normal because of delays and roadway
closures. Keep your gas tank at least half full at all times.
Use low-beam headlights to increase visibility in winter
driving conditions. If you get stuck in snow, make sure
